U Can’t Stop Us was created under extraordinary circumstances. The music was largely written by František Vaníček, who laid down the core building blocks of the track. Michal Dvořáček and Nicole Fay Kupková later joined in, connecting the pieces and adding the final energy, ideas, and character that shaped the song.
 

Midway through the writing process, everything changed. A notification appeared — their Facebook page was under attack. In real time, they watched it being hacked. There was nothing they could do. Within minutes, thousands of followers disappeared, along with years of memories, photos, and videos. It happened during COVID, at a time when the world already felt like it had come to a standstill. Losing everything in that moment was devastating.
 

For a while, it felt easier to give up. They put the song away and moved on, trying to rebuild something they had invested so much time and energy into. But as the months passed, frustration turned into anger — and that anger needed a voice. The lyrics almost wrote themselves. Nicole wrote them as a direct message to the hacker: There’s no stopping us.
 

The song’s working title was Řehořův popěvek — they jokingly named the hacker Řehoř, permanently writing him into the history of Mr. Moss. That’s why the track was ultimately released as “U Can’t Stop Us ft. Řehoř.”
 

The music video adds another layer to the story. In a time of anger and frustration after losing everything, it becomes clear that the greatest enemy isn’t always the one who hurt us — but ourselves. There are things people can do to us, but if we don’t let them break us, we can remain strong. In the video, Nicole plays both roles and literally fights against herself, visually reinforcing the song’s core idea: the real battle often takes place within.
 

Fun fact: Nicole even tattooed the name Řehoř on her leg — a personal reminder that no matter what happens, once she sets her mind to something, no one can stop her.
